Introduction
A contemporary home that makes use of the natural slope to blend into the landscape and make the most of the views. Its clean-lined volumes combine timber, glass and natural stone in a composition that prioritises light and a connection with the outdoors.
The challenge
Adapting the building to the sloping site, combining integration into the landscape with a practical floor layout and making the most of the views.
The approach
The arrangement of the volumes follows the slope, while large glazed openings connect the interiors with their surroundings. The openwork slab lightens the composition and creates patterns of light and shade across the facade.
