Introduction

A showroom created from a timber-clad shipping container, demonstrating the possibilities of compact living. The interior layout and connection to the outdoor deck seek to provide comfort and a sense of space within a small footprint.

The challenge

Bringing a kitchen, living room and sleeping area together in a compact space, ensuring functionality and privacy without compromising natural light and ventilation.

The approach

Slatted timber panels distinguish the different areas while allowing light and air through. Wide glass doors extend the interior onto the deck, while neutral tones, indirect lighting and simply designed furniture reinforce the visual continuity of the space.
